We are called to be genuine people who honor the Lord with authentic worship on and off the platform. To be a team of Spirit-filled worship leaders used by the Lord to lead others into God’s presence. To be filled with and living in submission to the Holy Spirit while ministering with excellence and in humility to our church family. Checking this box indicates you have read and affirm the Purpose & Vision statement.
A worship team member must be a born-again believer of Jesus Christ. He or she must live a life worthy of the calling received (Ephesians 4:1), maintain a life of moral integrity and good character, walk in the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18), be self-controlled and alert (I Peter 5:8), be equipped for spiritual growth (2 Peters 1:5). Checking this box indicates you have read and affirm the Spiritual Guidelines.
Vocalists must be able to sing on pitch and display confident stage presence. Musicians should be highly skilled and proficient at reading chord charts. Lead Vocalists must have strong solo potential to lead songs, transition between songs and demonstrate spiritual maturity. Musicians are expected to practice outside of scheduled rehearsals, as needed. As an instrumentalist or vocalist, you must be willing to receive candid musical direction on an individual (or group) basis. Everyone must be prompt to arrive on-time to all scheduled rehearsals, events and worship services. Checking this box indicates you have read and affirm the Vocalist & Musician Guidelines.
Be careful not to bring unhelpful attention to yourself by your wardrobe. Shorts, dirty clothing or clothing in obvious disrepair, spaghetti straps, clingy material (tight tops or bottoms), low-cut blouses, skirts that are shorter than the top of the knee, leggings, tank or tube tops, sleeveless or backless blouses are examples of clothing that are not acceptable for platform ministry. Eliminate excessive jewelry. Shoes should be worn while ministering from the platform. Checking this box indicates you have read and affirm the Dress Code policy.

Sunday worship team rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings in the sanctuary from 7:00-8:30pm. Musicians and vocalists are expected to arrive on time, with an iPad with Music Stand prepared and ready with your charts/sheet music (a small number of iPads are available on a first-come first-serve basis if you do not own your own device), and in-ear monitors should be ready by the end of the soundcheck, so we can begin rehearsing no later than 7:15pm. We typically end ~8:15-8:30pm.
The band arrives for soundcheck at 7:15am, with rehearsal from 7:30-8:30am. We begin prelude songs ~4-5 minutes before each service begins, and the full team participates in the closing song. You should realistically expect to be serving on a Sunday morning from ~7am until noon.
